HER STORY
From Universal Studio Tours to Hollywoods Sets.
Amanda Mofield knew what she wanted to do before she was ten years old. During a childhood visit to Universal Studios, while other tourists watched the tram tour, Amanda found herself captivated by a small production trailer where hairstylists and makeup artists were preparing actors for the camera. She left knowing she wanted to work behind the scenes in Hollywood.
After moving to Los Angeles, Amanda attended and graduated from MUD (Make-Up Designory) and began her career as a makeup artist. One of her first industry jobs came while working craft services on The X Show, where she introduced herself to makeup artist Mary Resnik. Impressed by Amanda's initiative, Mary handed her a brush, gave her an opportunity, and became the mentor who helped launch her career.
Amanda soon discovered that hairstyling was where her creativity truly came alive. One production led to the next, and over the past 25+ years she has built a career as a trusted Hair Department Head on acclaimed television series, feature films, commercials, and editorial productions, earning multiple Emmy nominations along the way.
Today, Amanda brings that same professionalism, creativity, and collaborative spirit to every client - whether she's styling talent on set or helping someone look and feel their absolute best on one of life's biggest days.
